Mattresses are not curbside trash

In California, mattresses are subject to special recycling regulations under the Used Mattress Recovery and Recycling Act. You can’t just leave them on the curb — and most landfills won’t take them anyway.

Up to 75% of a mattress is recyclable: foam, fabric, springs, wood. We send mattresses to certified mattress-recycling facilities that recover those materials properly.

What we take

  • Twin, full, queen, king, California king, RV, crib, bunk
  • Foam mattresses, innerspring, hybrid, pillow-top, latex, memory foam
  • Box springs and bed frames
  • Mattresses in any condition — including stained, water-damaged, or bedbug-affected (with disclosure)
  • Multi-mattress pickups (move-outs, hotels, Airbnbs, dorms)

What’s included

  • Removal from any room in the home (we handle stairs and tight doorways)
  • Plastic-wrap protection so we don’t drag debris through the home

What if the mattress is upstairs or in a tight bedroom? Standard. We handle stairs, narrow hallways, and awkward angles.

Do you charge extra for box springs or frames? Frames and box springs are quoted as add-ons — usually $20–$40 each.

Do you really recycle them? Yes — we send them to certified mattress recycling facilities. We can provide the facility name on request.

How fast? Same-day pickup often available, especially in core North County zip codes.
